Steve has over thirty years’ experience in the insurance industry working for both carriers and
agencies. His responsibilities have included sales, management, risk management, compliance and
underwriting. In 2008 he joined the Allied International Holdings (AIH) Family of companies which was exclusive to the amusement industry, this included T.H.E. Insurance Company and Allied Specialty Insurance-the agency. He worked his way up and in 2013 was named President of T.H.E. In 2016 AIH was acquired by XL Catlin and subsequently AXA XL. In January 2020 AXA XL entered a Joint Venture with the McGowan Companies to create McGowan Allied Specialty Insurance where Steve is the Director of Underwriting for T.H.E.
Steve is well versed in underwriting the amusement and entertainment classes of business due to his 12 plus years of being solely immersed in it. Over the span of his career Steve has worked with a wide variety of clients and insurance programs including experience with large deductibles and loss sensitive programs. His dedication and passion for the amusement industry has enabled him to lead the team at T.H.E. to continue to bring strength and solidity to the market.
Steve is married and has 2 grown sons who he and his wife Michelle love to spend time with. When Steve wants to unwind, he will take a ride on one of his motorcycles, be it his Harley or Ducati, or take on DIY projects around his house and condominium.
